Everyone hates the Gen3 tundra requires a subscription for the APP to remote start. First and Foremost. You don't have to use the app. You can press the "Lock" button on the key fob 3 times, and hold down the button on the 3rd time for about 5 seconds. Your lights will flash a few times and the truck will start and run for 10 minutes. It is limited to the range of the Key fob, which isn't great. As for aftermarket, I have not used either of these, but I found them 2 weeks ago for another thread. StartX https://amzn.to/3PRHfxX MPC https://amzn.to/4arhMVQ Here is an MPC kit with the extra long range remotes https://amzn.to/40raPPR Both of these use the factory key fob out of the box. They have optional Cell Plan add ons, so you can do a remote start via an APP. They also have replacement key fobs available that give you farther range.
